Who we are
History
Our history started 40 years ago when a group of italian entrepreneurs decided to manufacture safety shoes in Italy.
In 1994 they moved the production to Romania and in the following years switched from producing semi processed goods to producing finite goods, work safety shoes and leisure shoes, using operational techniques and new components of the sector.
And so, for more than 15 years, SIR group manufactures shoes in Bacău, Romania.
Operative capacity
Sir Safety owns 4 injection machines which allow the production of 6000 pairs of shoes daily with 2D polyurethane soles, according to European Directive 89/686 CEE.
The experience in the field - the shoes produced so far reach approximately 15 million pairs - allows our company to deliver to our clients high quality products and the capacity to answer any request of products in terms of components, design and technological innovation.
Strong points
Our industrial park is situated on the outskirts of Bacău, inside a building of 6000 square meters of operational spaces with a warehouse with a capacity of approximately 50000 pairs of shoes permanent stock and another 70000 pairs stock in Civitanova Marche, Ancona, Italy where there is another company Exena, part of the same group, which distributes the footwear produced in Bacău in Italy and Europe.
We do our work with the purpose of reducing work accidents for the users which wear our footwear, so increasing the users trust in our products, the clients satisfaction being the ultimate measure of our success.

For the complete satisfaction of our clients beside the production of footwear we import and distribute the whole range of protection equipment: work safety clothing, protection gloves, helmets, visors and goggles, hearing protection, respiratory protection, height safety and miscellaneous products..
